The monument itself is 40 metres, and its basis 10 metres high. It's not accidental. Numerous tourists will spend their time in restaurants and cinema located in the basis.

Several large tourist bases for 800 yourts as a minimum are being planned to be build all around the monument. 800 is a symbolical number. In 2006 when the construction has begun Mongolia celebrated the eight century of a single state formation. Genghis Khan exactly has united isolated Mongolian lands.

Genghis Khan really has something to look at. A whole village in the 13th century style has been built in the steppe region, which is considered the commander's smaller motherhood. The future conqueror grew up in such conditions exactly. Patrol towels were situated next to living yourts in order to detect enemies at any moment. The area of the village is 15 hectares. It is quite difficult to pass through on foot. Tourists go by bus or by horse, like in the times of Genghis Khan. Besides tourists there are constant inhabitants in the village who stay after summer tour-season in order to look after buildings. A few tourists come here in winter so far, but the maximum program of organizers is intended to make rest in Mongolian steppe all-the-year-around. The minimum program is to finish the 40 metres high building construction. The opening ceremony is being fixed up on July, 2008.
